C-M-C
abreviation for commodity circuit of form
Commodity - exchanges for money - exchanges for another commodity
M-C-M+ or M-C-M'
Money exchanges for a commodity which is sold to obtain a larger
sum of money.
The circulation process of a capitalist economy is an interprentration
of the two circuits.
Marx argued that Says Law was only valid for circuits of form C-C
in other words barter. As soon as it takes the form C-M-C you have
the possibility of the formation of a hoard or monetary savings,
which interrupt the circuit, breaking Says Law.
