Re: archives

Paul Davidson and Richard Holt brought up doing archives. In Richard's
message he mentioned working papers.

Althought the Post Keynesian could do a working paper archive on its own,
we have one set up based on the very sucessful physics archive. Papers are
submitted via e-mail (or an e-mail message and an ftp binary submission).
They can be accessed via e-mail, ftp, gopher and World Wide Webb. I
attempt, at the moment, to make postscript versions available of the papers
regardless of the format of the submission (TeX/LaTeX, Word, W4W,
WordPerfect, etc). With appropriate software (e.g., NCSA Mosaic for
Windows) you can view the paper on-line and/or print it to a postscript
printer. You can also get, via any of the methods, whatever source
document was posted.

Additionally, there are subscription lists which distribute
TItle/Author/abstracts the day after the posting.

For more information on the archive,

Send a mail message (empty body)
	  To: econ-wp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
	  Subject: get announce

and for a directory of the help files:

Send a mail message (empty body)
	  To: econ-wp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
	  Subject: help

The archive is categorized using JEL classificiations which of course does
not have a pure letter designation for Post Keynesian Thought but certainly
papers could be posted to the Macro section, JEL E.
