Ric, I understand your desire to have a specialty list for PKTers, but
I wonder if you are aware of efforts to provide these same kind of
services for the entire profession. It might be a good idea to
coordinate these services. Also, are you suggesting a gopher type
service?

Such a list for active economists exists, though in a less detailed
form on the Sam Houston State University gopher server. It is part of
the Economics initiative at SHSU run by George Greenwade.
You get to it by the path:
NORTH AMERICA / USA / TEXAS / SAM HOUSTON STATE UNIVERSITY /
Check it out. It is far from complete, but is growing steadily
and contributions by readers of PKT would be valued.

This is also a feature on the SHSU gopher, along with working papers
links to data sources, and many other features.

This is not something which has been completed on the SHSU gopher,
though there has been some discussion of it. Why not contact
George, or just survey the information available and see what you
think. My concern in this is that we use our resources efficiently,
and that researchers, students, and teachers have a limited number of
places to search to find the information they need.

As you might have gathered, I am very supportive of your project.
Whether you decide to go it alone, or join forces with those already
involved in similar projects, please keep me informed on your
progress.
