Goodwin is alive.  Beyond that, all I know is his model of cyclical
capitalist growth that formalizes Marx's vol. I ch. 25 story ofexcessive
growth leading to high wages which leads to a cut-back of growth and
lower wages (ad infinitum).  (See "A Growth Cycle" in Hunt & Schwartz,
eds., A CRITIQUE OF ECONOMIC THEORY, Penguin 1972 or in C.H. Feinstein,
ed., CAPITALISM AND ECONOMIC GROWTH, C.U.P., 1967.) He also claims to
have synthesized Marx, Keynes, and Schumpeter.
