For what it is worth, I would enthusiastically support cutting working
time. A small step would be the restoration of the 40 hour work week
to an economy where many put in significantly more hours than that. A
bigger step might be the 30 hour work week. (The argument for that
particular number: 4 day work week of basically 8 hour days, but come
in an hour late the first day, and leave an hour early the last.)
Obviously the real number is whatever you can build popular support
around.
