I just arrived a few hours ago. I have not slept for 24 hours, but feel ok.
Half the Chinese passengers in the plane wore masks. We were not allowed 
get off the plane until we all had our temperatures taken. The airport 
was filled with people not wearing police uniforms -- seemingly medical 
personell. At least one of my lectures has been cancelled on account of the flu.

I cannot get to any blogs, including my own -- maybe someone knows a 
workaround.

I was surprised by all of the park spaces around Beijing as we rode in 
from the airport. Also, unlike Shanghai, we saw quite a few bicycles & far 
fewer motorized bikes. The driving was far less aggressive than Shanghai.

But so far, I am too tired to take in very much.
