Studebaker has a nice ring, except that that company made pretty good cars.
For what it's worth, my office is in the Studebaker building on 131st
Street, which once was corporate headquarters. My dad drove a Studebaker
in the 1950s, a car that I was always ashamed of when all my other
friends' parents drove Buicks or Chevys. When we moved into the
building, our staff was given tiny toy models of a Studebaker. I am much
fonder of the car than I was when I was 11 years old.
