[Pen-l] "Marx" lives in Siegfried
The NY Times reviews the "Marxist" interpretation of "Siegfried"
by the Washington National Opera ("In This 'Ring', Wagner Gets a Touch
of Marx"):

Beware, though, Marx is never mentioned: apparently the NY Times
notion of "Marxist" is to simply recognize that greed exists, give
voice to its victims, and shine light on its perpetrators.
