I'm not surprised that some people can't see this. This is one of the  
pathologies of left discourse. There are just some things you're not  
supposed to say. Anything that shows that members of the working class  
hold some unpleasant attitudes is one of them. It's one reason the  
right can get away with the "elitist" slur, since it's obvious that  
"enlightened" leftists hold those attitudes in contempt.
