Re: [Pen-l] Obama reconsidered



There was an excellent panel on Actually Existing Barbarism sponsored by
Socialist Register. The first paper was read at such speed it exhibited
contempt for its hearers, but nevertheless seemed to have some quite
good material on continuity in U.S. domestic policy. Jan & I walked out
on the third speaker out of embarassment for him. The second speaker was
on continuity in U.S. foreign policy over the administrations of
Bush,*Clinton,Bush, Obama, and I suspect provided a find basis for
seeing how things will be going. Obama is asimply a more efficient
mass-murderer than Bush, and one capable,as Bush was not, of organizing
serous public support for his murderous policies.
