Perhaps instead of foreign aid, what we need is a progressive tax on a
world scale. Of course, then we'd need a world government. Of course,
then we'd need a world government that's held responsible to (and is
responsive to) the world's populace, as opposed to the current
hemi-demi-semi-world government currently run by the US.
