[Pen-l] Friedman joins the world of sanity?
Thomas, that is, not the late and unlamented Milton.
He wants a carbon tax instead of cap-n-trade and cites a draft bill
from John B. Larson, chairman of the House Democratic Caucus that
sounds reasonably straightforward and potentially effective.
I have doubts about his E.T./I.T. hopes, and his notion that the person
to sell this is Gen. James Jones (former Marine Corps head) is
laughable romance, but it is a hopeful sign that the carbon tax
may soon become a real prospect.
