Perhaps.... but that does not change the fact that we can look forward to
1200 or so more days of drivel.  Hell, for that matter, we can expect that
it will never stop.  If it isn't one "Talking Head" it will be another. 

Although the Bard was describing life as a "tale told by idiots, full of
sound and fury and signifying nothing," this description also pertains to
American politics.

During the late presidential campaign (2005-8), I leaned toward Obama
and against Clinton because Hillary far out-shone Barack in terms of
being downright annoying. How could my ears stand four years of
Hillary's blatantly self-serving drivel?  (In the end, I did not let
this determine my vote and instead followed the late Molly Ivins'
advice, voting for Ralph.)

But now we seem to have suffered a role reversal: because she is
supposed to be diplomatic and not toot her own horn, Hillary's
annoyance rating took a dive, while Barack's rating soared, since he's
become increasingly pedantic in his style. How can my ears stand four
years of his excessively professorial style?
