A rather large telco is currently negotiating with the employees
union, and as a safeguard in case the union strikes, they are training
"management" employees to fix telephony equipment. Aside from the
hilarious nature of trying to get a suit to understand real objects
(that are not icons in PowerPoint presentations), the union seems to
have no presence outside one of the main offices of said company. Why
is that? Shouldn't they be holding signs, distributing literature,
informing the code monkeys who are a large part of the "management
employees" the issues with crossing (or not crossing) a picket line,
should there be one?
