If I had followed his offer, we'd be reading now about a military
_coup_ in the U.S. The CIA would be destabilizing its own government.
I'd be arming the workers to defend the government. (and perhaps like
Allende, authorities would find afterward that I shot myself with a
machine gun, pausing once to reload.)
