[Pen-l] a question on feminism
Some years ago I heard of a study in which a professor divided the class in two and handed out instructions to each student. For half the students the instructions said "draw a picture of rural man" and for the other "draw a picture of rural life." The former pictures had men baling hay, men driving tractors etc. The latter pictures had men baling hay, women feeding chickens (and maybe driving tractors), and children playing.
Anyone know a citation to this?
