This group is evidently still around--they've moved from about a half
mile from the George Mason Campus in Fairfax--25 years ago--to about a
half mile from the George Mason University campus in Arlington (where
the fancy Mercatus Center http://www.mercatus.org/Home.aspx is
located).

The Mercatus Center is also allegedly funded privately, but a little
less than half (21 out of 49) of the scholars it employs get fat
paychecks from the state of Virginia via GMU on top of whatever they
get from Mercatus. Ah state-funded libertarianism!

How much do their scholars get from the state? Altogether for 21
scholars, is $3,101,673. Not bad for government work.

you can do the calculations here: http://www.roblink.com/
Or if you want to check my work let me know and I'll show you the list
I compiled
