Gulick: Perhaps you're not aware that Tokyo's governor of the past 10 years has been the ultra-neo-nationalist Shintaro Ishihara, Japan's leading HARD right-winger and notorious historical revisionist. Nanjing Massacre denial, anyone? Dunno if he's implemented a Ghouliani-style putsch of the homeless though. Maybe the ethnically Japanese homeless are among the deserving poor.
