Raise your right hand and do not cross your fingers.  If Gramm/Armey in an academic position made a prediction or argument, and Gramm/Armey as politicans made a prediction or argument concerning the same issues, would you bet the better motivated and/or more likely correct prediction or argument would be Gramm/Armey academic or Gramm/Armey politican?  Do not cop out by telling me that they would both be wrong and worthless.
