You raise a very important question. So far Obama has proved himself
to have tremendous confidence and political judgment. This is not at
all consistent with his apparent recent timidity. The only logical
explanation is that Obama is saving up his political capital for
something big. I have no idea what that might be, but right now it is
too soon to tell what to expect from President Obama.

CB: I don't know. Seems to me that his main presidential campaign strategy was to be sort of timid, not too uppity, not attacking, not being aggressive, not fighting, uniting not dividing, compromising (flaccid ?) - and with good judgment. How much you wanna bet his political judgment is still better than Krugman's and PEN-L ?
