I have Ulhas filtered out but would like to say something about this issue. When you read his disembodied crosspostings lifted from the business press, you get a sense of frustration in not getting the implicit political analysis made explicit. Ulhas is an ex-Marxist who has become convinced of the profundity of Thomas Friedman's flat-world analysis. Anybody who is even half-conscious can figure that out by reading them carefully, something that I found interesting perhaps five years ago when he first began doing this. But after five years, you get a bit fed up. What is the point of having a mailing list except to discuss/debate ideas? Having a robotic feed of material from the business press defeats the whole purpose of discussion and debate and is tantamount to spamming.
