[Pen-l] The Chinese economy

As the US recession gathers force and is more than matched by the growing problems in many third world countries—the question of China and the extent of its decoupling from the global economy becomes more important.

 

The publication Against the Current has just published a piece of mine ("The Realities of China Today") that discusses the nature of and dynamics driving the current Chinese economy; the last part of the article examines China’s position in the global economy and discusses the decoupling argument.  The article can be read at:
