[Pen-l] shift east of Atlantic
And from this side of the water signs that the open switch to Keynesianism
and (in our context) social democracy, is helping the liberal answer to the
crisis of capitalism.
Brown is back with a fighting chance over the next year, particularly if he
can coordinate a smooth bail-out plan for massive state indebtedness of the
UK and USA with Barack Obama, and sell it to the IMF.
The Conservatives are suddenly dead in the water, and the serious opposition
in this by election is from the Scottish Nationalists.

Election day Thursday - probably will be good headlines for Brown, even if
Labour loses.
