[Pen-l] decoupling

why is it that people assume that China has been successful at
decoupling from the world economy, so that it won't experience
negative growth rates (as opposed to mere slowing growth) as a result
of kapital's kurrent kerfuffle?

also, we know that their central bank has accumulated mucho dinero
norteamericano (i.e., US$), but to what extent has the Chinese
private sector borrowed from US$ lenders and are so affected by the
credit cut-off?
