Are they? I am not sure I have ever eaten them. Being vegetarian, I don't visit McDonald's -- except once, seeking warmth on a cold night in Paris on the Champs Elysee. They served tea in a pot and in an actual porcelain cup. Damn the French! They get you with their fries and me with their adult utensils!!

yes, the fries are, in fact, good. but there was a big stink several years ago, iirc, about it coming out that mcdonald's used beef to season the fries, which was a big deal for mcdonald's in india.
