CB: Many class conscious capitalists want to hurt the poor and the
working class economically and socially to keep them down and in
control. A strong working class, with no or very few poor members, is
likely to carry out advances in the class struggle against the ruling
class and challenge the rulers' rule in various ways. Well fed, well
educated workers with lots of leisure time have time to think, develop
their class consciousness, act effectively on their justified anger at
the corporate bosses ( Workers of the world just watch the news today
!).  Many of the political actions of the business class are consciously
aimed at keeping the poor poor, and making more poor. Reaganism is not
benign neglect , but malign,conscious
 action against, the working class.
