There's a certain kind of upper class yahoo, familiar to anyone who  
went to a place like Yale; the Bush family a few excellent examples.  
They're arrogant, anti-intellectual, and inclined to make fun of  
people through patronizing nicknames. But George W also affects the  
demeanor of a more downscale yahoo. The normal graduate of Andover,  
Yale, and Harvard Business School doesn't pronounce "insurance" with  
the accent on the first syllable, or "vehicle" with the accent on the  
second, the way W does.
