Doyle;
This presents a dilemma for reporting, if you imply that it has to be shown on video something is happening. I'm not opposed to the idea, but I presume from my own experience with video it is hard to capture what the eye sees. In effect you are not taking the reporters for their word. This also entails rights for shooting pictures the state does not recognize. There is no shield for picture witnessing. Thirdly, how does one organize pictures to show events? Video's like this one hop around in unidentified spaces with incoherent means of organizing what one is seeing.

What I would do is upload all images to an online site that can organize and make available all footage, and organizable to any sort of display order, then a team 'interprets' the footage. I don't care where video comes from. What I care about is GPS location, and time so that the scene can be reconstructed and actions identified by computing techniques just gazing at a movie can't provide.
Thanks,
Doyle Saylor
