Collier's "The Bottom Billion: Why the Poorest Countries Are Failing 
and What Can Be Done about It" and worthy of your attention. Collier, 
along with Niall Ferguson who praised his book to the heavens, are 
two of the worst skunks in the bourgeois intellectual machinery.
