Yes. I don't know how the fuck I typed Harvard instead of Stanford.
Incidentally, Bruce and I came very near to beginning a full-scale riot
in the lobby of the Americana Hotel during the 1968 MLA Convention. We
had become bored with listening to the stupid heckling from the audience
(various Weather/Yippie types) of Chomsky, left the Hilton to wander
back to the Americana, and for lack of anythign more interesting to do
started chanting "Drop the Charges," and pretty soon a couple hundred
had joined in.
