Take Action to Protect Working Families from Losing Their Homes
 
We are approaching a critical moment in the campaign to stop the foreclosure crisis. The U.S. Senate is considering a bill (S. 2636) with a key provision that would fix bankruptcy policies to allow borrowers to restructure their mortgages in bankruptcy court.

You can protect thousands of families from losing their homes by asking your senators to support "Pay and Stay" (also known as Title IV of the Foreclosure Prevention Act, S.B. 2636).  Just fill out the form on this page to deliver a message to your senators.

"Pay and Stay" is a provision that will make it possible for more than 600,000 families to keep their homes.  If the Senate passes "Pay and Stay," working families will be able to present their cases to bankruptcy courts.  These courts can modify mortgage repayment plans, so families can continue making paymentsâand keep their homes. That's what makes "Pay and Stay" fair for everybody.

"Pay and Stay" is the right thing to do.  Tell your senators to support "Pay and Stay" by filling out the form on this page.
