I'm about halfway through Knowledge and the Wealth of Nations. Anybody read it feel like talking about it? DW is fun to read but seems to muck up concepts often. He seems to think mainstream econ is a fount of scientific knowledge. Re: his increasing returns theme, my dim recollection is that Sraffa had something important to say about it but DW barely mentions Sraffa, except for a few gossipy items. |
