[Pen-l] query: problem with G-Mail under Firefox

Every time I want to send an e-mail to pen-l using G-Mail under
Firefox, a list jumps up offering me the choice of
"pen-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" (the correct address) and
pen-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (the old one). Unfortunately, the wrong address
shows up first. Is there a way to purge that buffer under Firefox, so
that such old addresses are erased?
