Well yeah, but JJ, despite his being a bit of a fraud (and Adolph
Reed would no doubt strike the "bit of a" bit), also stood for class
politics considerably to the left of BHO. There was a time when
Jackson was on every picket line in the USA (not that there are all
that many). When's the last time BHO was on a picket line?
