according to SLATE:

governor won 156 delegates at a cost of approximately $45,000 each.
Mitt Romney, on the other hand, spent $654,000 per delegate. But
that's chump change compared with Rep. Ron Paul, who has lined up five
delegates at a cost of about $4 million each.<
