the problem with peak oil
I think that peak oil might occur within a few years. I am not an expert and I
could very well be wrong. I think that we need to change the ways we use energy &
much, much more.
If, however, oil production happens to "surge" or prices fall in the next year or
two, it will discredit those people who are trying to make changes.
As I mentioned before, I would like to know more about the underlying issues and the
connection with the economy. CNN articles quoting somebody whose ideas are already
well known here does not provide much information.
I suggested stopping the discussion before because I was not seeing much new
information or much new dialogue. A number of you suggested that I was wrong, but
what has happened since then seems to confirm my initial reaction.
