Scitovsky actually talks about the details of the pleasure derived
from sex (though not in terms that might be embarrassing to people).
That's different from the economics of selling sex services.

The thing about Scitovsky is that he actually studied psychology,
while neoclassical economists only assume a simplistic, i.e.,
behaviorist, model of psychology ("utility maximization," where
utility seems metaphysical). (Most experimental economics is different
from most neoclassical stuff.)
