Re: Iraqi spy vs. spy

I don't discuss false-flag ops on mail lists anymore.

However, I posted this to Juan Cole's Informed Comment this morning:

Professor Cole, in regard to "(It is a ridiculous allegation, but will
be believed by the more disgruntled Shiites.)"

I understand that it is not a 'mainstream' belief to think that our
own military-based economy might have a hand in subverting any peace
process that might occur in the Middle East, but if one would note the
seamy side of Western history after WWII, there are too many
occurrences of 'false flag' operations and 'black ops', not to mention
various & sundry murderous diplomatic intrigues. Some documented...
Some not.

But I think your insinuation that believing the US has it's hands in
the mayhem occurring in Iraq is somehow mis-guided may be true, BUT IT
IS NOT 'RIDICULOUS'

Here are some researched historical details of NATO's ops in Europe
from WWII on: <http://leighm.net/?p=42> NATO's Secret Armies: False
Flags & The Strategy Of Tension - Interview With Daniele Ganser,
Professor Of Contemporary History

I would suggest that we may not find out the sordid details for a
long, long time, but to dismiss such a possibility out of hand!

Sounds like US intelligence conflicts. Rumsfeld's War Department off
