Isn't the EU as we know it the product of an alliance of financial
capital of various countries, combined with the fading of the social
democrats and eurocommunists as a counteracting force? with this
combination, what should we expect but gradual (or even rapid)
"Americanization," including a surge into stupidity of policy?
