The sex offenders have no where to live but under a bridge... The Department of Corrections isnt *housing' them at all...
I'm sure the DoD tries to convince the locals that this makes the neighborhoods safer because they can just throw them back in jail for the myriad infractions that might be committed by homeless people... such as sleeping, and harass them into leaving the vicinity.
We are ALL safer for that....
