Peer to Peer and Human Evolution

Re: Peer to Peer and Human Evolution

In his book BEYOND GROWTH, Herman Daly devotes a chapter to the economics of
Frederick Soddy. Soddy got a Nobel Prize in chemistry and then turned to
economics. Daly remarks:

"Soddy's proposals have nothing in common with Silvio Gessel or Major
Douglas or other famous "monetary cranks." Soddy respected these men for
raising important questions, but concluded that in their proposals for
reform they were just as guilty of appealing to "conjurer's tricks" as were
the orthodox money men."

CB: Does Daly propose any legitimate radical reforms of the financial
system, interest, etc. ?
