speaking of religion, on Saturday night I went to a (4 hour!)
Jewish-Islamic Seder at the Wilshire Boulevard (Reform) Temple in L.A.
It's amazing how many references there are to the exodus from Egypt in
the Koran. (They explicitly made the decision to translate "Egypt" as
"narrow and dark places.")  It turns out that even the Pharaoh's wife
didn't like him.The sermon was by a Moslem. The only problem, besides
its length, were all those references to Adonai and Allah (who
alternated).

In a strange coincidence, we ended sitting at a table with three women
who have autism.
