* Captain America is dead! what's an embattled nation to do?

* Meanwhile, Dubya is going to Colombia soon. Will he have a toot for
old time's sake?

* For reasons that I don't want to explain, I bought my son an
inexpensive lap-top PC. It is complete with MS's new operating system,
Vista (they forgot that capitalism is supposed to provide choices to
consumers). In this, the new icons for folders show the folders
sitting on their edges. Shouldn't the paper fall out of folders like
that?
