Lack of class consciousness
Comment on UAW's coming bargaining. What a shame that someone,
probably working class thinks that autoworkers' wages and benefits are "way
out of line".
CB
Leigh:
I'm afraid unions as Charles understands them to be... wants them to be,
are history.

CB; I didn't say anything about unions. I said it's ashame that a working
class person would think that the autoworkers wages and benefits are "way
out of line". That demonstrates a lack of class consciousness. The idea
should be "lets raise the rest of the working class up to where the
autoworkers are by cutting the incomes of the rich." Don't you want a better
level of class consciousness ?
