Eh? What could I do that you can't?
My favorite recession indicator is a count of the number of articles
in major newspapers that use the word (an idea I stole from The
Economist, actually). It's flatlining at a pretty low level.
Wonder how a count of the number of posts to PEN-L containing the
word "recession" would work?
