ACORN releases Legislative scorecard
On Oct. 10, ACORN released the ACORN Legislative Scorecard for the
109th Congress, First and Second Sessions. The Scorecard gives a
percentage score (0% to 100%) to each member of Congress based on key
votes on measures that impact low and moderate income communities
across the country, including immigration reform, voting rights, tax
cuts, the budget, education, bankruptcy reform, and disaster relief
for Hurricane Katrina survivors. "Working people don't have time to
personally track every vote, but whether or not our representatives
stand up for our schools, voting rights and community services makes a
huge difference in our lives," said ACORN President Maude Hurd. "The
ACORN Legislative Scorecard will help people in our communities tell
the heroes from the zeros in Congress."

[my senators -- Boxer & Feinstein each got 100%, while my Congressrep,
Harman the warrior, got 89%. It's interesting that all three of my
national reps are women. Intuition over intellect! ;-)]
