Re: Question about the living wage movement



There is a ballot measure coming up in Santa Cruz California to raise the minimum wage to $9.25/hr.
Many business, including Goodwill Industries, and my current employer, are threatening to move out of the city. To which I can only say "Bye...Bye... Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out of town.".


The local businesses were upset and spent $20,000 on an independent study.


Here's what was said in May by the business-hired research group:
