You may also want to check Henry C.K. Liu's
writings at the Asia Times web site for an
interesting view on money and credit. As I recall
he has a personal web site as well but I do not
recall the address. Michael Hudson's book
entitled "Super Imperialism" may also be useful,
particularly for the period from WWII to this
day.
