I think that what I am driving towards (in some long and about way) is
Marx's fetishism of commodities.

I think it is not necessary and in the short term probably it doesn't
happen,
but in the long term this seems to me to be what happens,
in the sense that who wins spreads his money and values,
one of such values beeing the need of using his money.
