Re: homosexuality in Turkey

Doyle;
I would say what socialist want to do is create a socialist kind of
intimacy regime. For example, what is dominate now is small group
intimacy. The threat to the small group of other kinds of intimacy is
the chief reactionary engine against social change. We lack a work
process understanding of intimacy. So that large scale intimacy is
what a socialist might call for, but how?
Intimacy is a connection process, but for humans also knowledge
production. So the main avenue of socialism is how the large scale
process of knowledge sharing that intimacy provides could happen. It
does not mean having sex with millions of people it means how does the
knowledge we share directly connect us to millions of people. The
current model that helps me to understand this is a common language
like computer interface that incorporates an emotion framework. This
is not up to Mom to provide by herself. This is an all around emotion
structure for everyone to be connected to everyone.
Knowledge production in networks provides information that cannot be
manufactured by one to one connection. That's what is wrong with one
to many media. Media stars do not provide real intimacy for the
masses. Nor do cults of personality via one to many media. An example
of mass scale knowledge production is a common language where everyone
is constantly contributing to shared networked language. Church
morality is an attempt to mass scale adjust emotion structure knowledge
for a common shared emotion knowledge of some sort. The dismal failure
of sectarian religion is well known. They have not been able to solve
the mass scale emotion framework required to make an intimate
connection with billions of people.
Sabri writes;
There even is a revolutionary group/party
with a central committee and all that, known as
'Revolutionary Homosexuals.'
Doyle;
So? Is that all you know? What does that organization think? Are
they communists?
thanks,
Doyle
